The IPEC Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice: Version 3 reflects the vision that interprofessional collaborative practice is key to safe, high-quality, accessible, equitable, person/client-centered care and enhanced population health outcomes desired by all. This consensus set of competency statements is aimed at preparing learners to engage in lifelong learning and collaboration to improve both person/client care and population health outcomes.

Join IPEC for this introductory webinar to announce the newly revised IPEC competencies, explore changes made since the April 2023 preliminary release, describe how these changes address feedback from the IPE community, and illustrate how the IPEC competencies can prepare learners for interprofessional teamwork.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of the Advisory and Working Group members about the revisions and discuss the impact these revisions may have on use of the IPEC competencies within their organizations/institutions, as well as to suggest additional resources and tools that would help with implementation into education and practice.
