Madhu Mohan, DMD

 

Associate Professor, Rutgers School of Dental Medicine

 

 

Madhu Mohan is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM). She has a DMD from RSDM and a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry also from RSDM. She is board certified in Pediatric Dentistry and is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mohan has been a faculty facilitator in the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) SPICE Case Experience since 2016. She has been part of the program and has contributed by helping formulate the cases and review them with students from all over RBHS. Dr. Mohan is highly engaged in the care of special needs patients and passionate about educating others regarding patient care. She has found the SPICE interprofessional cases extremely rewarding. Madhu is also an RBHS Diversity Champion Ambassador and found the program engaging and valuable.

Dr. Mohan is engaged in many department research projects and currently has grants with NJ Department of Health Division of Community Health Services Funded Grant Award. Research projects include studies on Silver Diamine Fluoride, caries in pediatric patients, nutrition in pediatric patients and studies involving other dental materials and tools.
